Spring Amendments Results

The results of the Spring amendments voting are counted.

Amendment 1 - Ranked-Choice passes with 28 votes in support.

Amendment 2 - Amendment Process passes with 30 votes in support.

Amendment 3 - Eligibility passes with 18 votes in support.

Amendment 1 goes into effect immediately and will impact the upcoming vote regional reps, just an FYI.

Ballot for student reps and topic are coming shortly.

CEDA Winter Ballot

The ballot is now available for the election of new CEDA officers and rep for the topic committee. The ballot is online at:

One vote per school. You need an account on the main CEDA site (not the forums) and the account must be set up to vote. If you have trouble accessing the site, please contact Jeff Jarman.

2016 - 2017 Resolution Announcement

57 schools voted. “Restrictions plus USFG” is the winning resolution. The resolution won with 37 first-place votes. The full wording is included. A complete breakdown of the votes is below. The list of schools voting is at the end.

Resolved: The United States Federal Government should establish a domestic climate policy, including at least substantially increasing restrictions on private sector emissions of greenhouse gases in the United States.

The first round of voting produced the following count of first-place votes.
