CEDA Update - Important Debate Business at NCA - How you can be involved - even if you aren't attending

Greetings all,

Later this week much of the debate and forensics community with gather in Chicago for the NCA conference. In order to keep our full membership involved I want to pass along a couple of notes. There are now lots of ways to be an active participant, even if you are not coming to Chicago.

First, we will be asking all submitted documents, agendas and reports to be posted at the cedaforums. We are pleased with the success of the new platform and we encourage our members to share information via that site. If you haven't registered, take a minute and go to http://cedadebate.org/forum/ and join the 200+ colleagues who have already signed up. Using the site will make it easier to share thoughts about ideas and proposals. The topic selection committee, for example, will soliciting ideas for future topic proposals at http://cedadebate.org/forum/2010-2011-topic/

Second, there is still time to submit nominations for the positions subject to election thus year. If you have a nomination, including a self-nomination, please let me know at stables@usc.edu. The full thread of explanation is at http://cedadebate.org/forum/ceda-news/nominations-required-for-ceda-offi...
