I am posting this for Cori Dauber, who is currently without access to
email. This is the voice of Dauber:
Based on some calls I've received, I gather that word on this year's Tar
Heel has not gotten to everyone. The reason we are not on the CEDA
calendar is that, for a variety of reasons (primarily the fact that I am
on leave this year), we are taking one year off. For 1998, our weekend is
going to be used by Scott Segal at GW to host the Capital Cities Debates
in D.C. I presume he will soon post the specifics for that event. We
will return to our regular weekend in 1999, and look forward to hosting
you then.

Subject: Re: TOPIC PAPERS FOR 1999-2000
Personally, I'd like to see a topic on Africa, maybe African economic
reform or something. If anyone is interested, let me know. I may be able to
shake loose some time around Christmas to actually start researching and
writing a topic paper.
