CEDA Constitution link, Navy Debate

While the CEDA Constitution is more readable on the Navy Debate web site,
it is the same version as the one on the CEDA webpage.

As far as I can tell, we do have the most complete set of links to other
schools' policy debate pages, so let me know if your school isn't listed,
and I'll be sure to add it.

Subject: call for award nominations

Call for Proposals
AFA Brockreide Memorial Research Grant

The Brockreide Memorial Research Grant provides $200 to be spent
on research costs for a project relating to the concerns of the
American Forensic Association.  Proposals on any topic related to
forensics and/or forensics education are welcome.  Research costs
to be funded include those directly related to data collection
(e.g. survey expenses, travel to research libraries or special
collections, material acquisition).

Please submit a curriculum vitae and a project proposal.  The
proposal must include: 1) a narrative of the research problem; 2)
an explanation of the process by which you will answer the
questions posed by that problem; 3) a statement of the anticipated
outcome's format (e.g. convention paper, article, book); 4)
ajustification of how the project benefits the AFA organization
and/or its members; and 5) a budget.

Please submit SIX copies of all materials.  Submissions must be
postmarked by September 30, 1998, and sent to:

Call for Nominations
Daniel Rohrer AFA Research Award

The Daniel Rohrer AFA Research Award recognizes outstanding
scholarship in argumentation and forensics published in the
previous calendar year (1997).  To nominate a piece of
scholarship, please send SIX copies of a letter of nomination
detailing why the publication should be honored and SIX copies of
the complete publication (if the publication nominated is a book,
a copy of one chapter is sufficient).  Eligible scholarship must
have a publication date of 1997.

Submissions must be postmarked by September 30, 1998, and sent to:
