Letterwriting Campaign

Greetings to all!  Just over a week ago, a friend and I placed two messages here regarding the newly-formed Washington University Debate Team in St. Louis.  The responses have been overwhelming, and I wanted to thank you all.  Furthermore, for those that would still like to contribute, we DO need more letters written to the administration here.  To briefly recap the last message we posted, the administration has given us a budget that adaquately covers the travel expenses for our 9-member team.  But since the team now numbers over 13, and since we badly need a coach, we require additional funds which the administration has been unwilling to provide.  Our idea then was to have members of the debate community, like yourselves, write our faculty sponsor Jill Carnegie and tell her WHY debate is such a worthwhile activity, and WHY funding a coach would be a good investment for the University.  She, being a non-debater, could certainly use all the "ammo" we can provide her with.  Any of you willing to write letters, your help is MOST APPRECIATED.  You can reach her here:
