John Miller was found on a Southern California beach 21 years ago, he has
steadily been moving inland ever since, he has thus far reached the edge
of the desert in Redlands, but that would appear to be as far East as he
will venture---thank goodness!  For the past four years he has been the
University of Redlands Debate Program.  In 32 years of coaching I have
never seen an individual devote more time and effort to debate, or to
achieve a greater scope and depth of knowledge the topic area called for.
John was the 5th speaker at the NDT in 1999 and 2nd in 2000.
While his debate success was significant it was also disappointing.
However, the FOUR years of debate and a 4.0 GPA will more than prepare him
for the real world demands of Stanford Law School this coming Fall.
Please note, Palo Alto is North of Redlands not East!
