has contributed significantly to CEDA in the areas of education,
scholarship, and service.

Describe the individual's accomplishments:
The Galentine Award is given each year to recognize a deserving woman in
debate for her service and dedication to academic debate. "Service and
dedication" can include work with the particular program with which she
is affiliated either professionally or as an alumnus, as well as other
regional and national debate programs. Competitive success is not a
requirement for consideration of this award. Rather, the award is
intended to recognize a woman who has worked above and beyond
expectations to facilitate the development and success of others, create
a supportive environment for women in debate and nuture effective
affiliations with other programs.
