Ahem.
Microsoft has NOT, I repeat, NOT, been broken up, and in fact the result of
this election may have a great deal to do with whether Microsoft ever *is*
broken up, as all indications are that Bush won't bust trusts, will drop the
case against Microsoft faster than Reagan dropped the case against IBM, and
will continue to reap fundraising dollars 'til the bitter end from those
corporations who see him as their champion, be they drug companies or the
digital equivalent of Standard Oil.
