Kirk Evans is an unoriginal idiot

Matt,

It has been my firm committment to ignore everything that you spew forth
from the safety of your keyboard, but you have stepped over the line. And
this is a line, mind you, that I draw much further out than most. I have no
idea if you are accurate in your claim that the Congress of African Nations
came up with the $777 trillion number and I don't care. To call Kirk an
idiot is nothing less than a public admission that you are an attention
hungry monster who cares little about the merit of what is said and more
about the response it may generate. This is not an answer to you, but a
public assurance that even those of us who disagree with Kirk on critical
theory respect him as a debater, a thinker and as a person. My encounters
with him have been brief and we have disagreed, but I still consider myself
a better person for having spoken with him and he seems to be one of the
most genuinely kind people around. You can disagree with someone without
resorting to ad homs and unfounded claims. Go ahead and flame me, I won't
respond.
