Hi, Forgive me then for "stereotyping" the beliefs of the Palestinians into some sort of archetype. I didn't realize, mostly because I didn't read the article, the "average" Palestinian wants to rush off and become a matyr. While I respect that committment to the faith, I wonder what Allah would say about it? I mean, dying because one is a Muslim and dying for ones RELIGIOUS beliefs is one thing, and the mark of a true Matyr. Killing oneself because one believes in a certain political cause might make one a "matyr" for the cause, but it would not make one a "Matyr" in the religious sense of the word, and that's the word that the Koran talks about. Could it be that some, because of their POLITICAL beliefs, are mixing the word around a bit??? Nah...couldn't be.  Duane
