Gendered Language & Apologies

While I havn't given much thought to the idea of gendered language, I do
have some comments about the issue.

1.  Get over it!!!  you lost, stop taking it so personally, would you
really have rather lost on no negative fiat?  or aid tradeoff o/w's
genocide?  really!  You used gendered language and that language has
effects.  It doesn't matter if you intended to do it or not. When you
apolagize those words don't become unspoken.  

2.  Awwwww, you feel really bad don't you?  HELLO somebody else in the
room feels really bad too!  Don't give me anger and victimization.  If
your apology was so sincere you would realize there was another victim in
that room.  It's the equivalent to blaming the victim of a rape.  You feel
like you wanna quit?  well so have countless womyn before you, and maybe
even the one in this debate round.

3.  Yes, your apology is accepted, but you think you win now?  Not so fast
sucka!  You will never truly think about what you say.  You will walk out
and say we just escaped a big one.  And the next time you will apologize
again and again.  The posts themselves prove the transformative effect of
the ballot.  You posted and you are thinking about it because you lost!!!  

4.  Is it really that hard to change your language?  Well that's part of
the problem.  But you think that means everyone must just accept it?
doubt it!  It means you must work harder, it means I must work harder to
make you learn.  

5.  Funny part?  Now you say an apology is enough.  Next round you will
say potential abuse is a voting issue!!  You will say use you ballot to
deter conditionality, non topical affs, Pics, etc.  The only remedy in
those rounds is punishment huh?  But you apology is sincere?  you really
understand don't you?  Please...So next time when you critique the
language in my aff as colonialist, racist, and imperialist, can I
apologize?  I mean I didn't mean it!!  Can we just get past this, I'm
being sincere here.  No, well I quit then!!!!


STOP BEING SO SILLY!!!!!  STOP WINING!!!  AND STOP USING THE LANGUAGE!!!
