zizek's got a great article called "The supposed subject of ideology" with
an interesting blade runner analogy to agency. _Looking Awry_ is mostly
Hitchcock, but has an interesting criticism of identity. _Everything you
wanted to know about Lacan but were afraid_ is good material on the psyche,
but judith butler's _The Psychic Life of Power_ is probably better. The
classic is _The Sublime OBject of Ideology_ with some great work on
nationalism. have fun translating this stuff into debate rounds :)
