Early registration will take place at the Tournament Hotel, The Holiday Inn Room 627/629 this evening from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. I can stay a little later if you let me know you are showing up.
Registration will also be held on campus on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. in Caldwell 121. A map of campus can be found at <http://www.cua.edu/centers/cuamaps.cfm> . Pairings will be out by 2:30 and rounds will begin at 3.
The campus has agreed not to ticket! You can park anywhere on campus except handicapped spots. They will not be ticketing. You can even park in metered spots. Our team will be out in full force starting at noon Friday standing at entrances wearing white Cap City T Shirts - they can direct you to buildings and also where the best place to drop off your evidence.
To accommodate 150 teams, we will be using almost every single classroom on campus. The good news is that we were able to consolidate each division into distinct parts of campus - it is probably best to drop your evidence off for each division at the below spots before pairings come out.
All Novices debates will be on the North Part of Campus. You can drop off your debaters evidence behind Marist or O'Boyle. There are parking spaces behind this buildings and on the road behind these buildings.
Most of Cap City Debates will occur on the south side of campus so you can park behind Pangborne Hall or in the spots around Pangborne, Gowan, McCourt Ward or Maloney.
Most of the JV debates will be in the center of campus where registration will occur at Caldwell Hall and McMahon Hall. There is parking lot behind McMahon.
Catholic U. debaters will be at every building to direct you on Friday.
We look forward to hosting this weekend. See everyone soon,
Ron Bratt
