Not sure if this is true everywhere, but I just heard on local radio that
the Red Cross here in Portland has a four hour line and are even turning
people away...theyre not even sure theyll be able to get the blood to the
East coast for obvious reasons. So you might want to call ahead and make
sure that you help can be used today.
