JMU is looking for an assistant debate coach.  The pay and benefits are 
very competitive.  We travel varsity, junior varsity and novice teams 
regionally and nationally.  Over the past 24 years JMU has qualified for 
the NDT 22 times, and our program and the administration are committed to 
keeping this tradition alive.  Our program is also active in public debate,

Assistant Director of Debate & Lecturer in Communication Studies/General 
Education.

Master's degree in communication or a related discipline required.  This 
position is a three-year renewable term appointment (RTA).  It involves 
coaching and traveling with our nationally competitive policy debate 
program and teaching communication courses in the General Education Program 
as well as courses in the School of communication Studies such as Argument 
and Advocacy.
