A Recent Decision in U.S Public Interest Research Group v. Atlantic Salmon of Maine, LLC in the U.S. District Court of Maine--56 ERC 1853 (May 28, 2003)--the court upheld an injunction against salmon farmers. The court accepted the argument that the potential release of non-native salmon into the environment would do irreparable damge to the ecosystem.
