Your "point," such as it is, is mistaken.  I *do* know something about the 
posters whom I criticize.  I read what they write.  Is it your claim that 
no inferences can be safely drawn from such material?  If so, why?  Many of 
the folks I have in mind are pretty explicit in their expressions, after 
all, and the things they are wrong about (when it comes to theological 
issues) are pretty blatant...

Let's not lose sight of what prompted my original contribution to this 
thread:  Padgett's claim that virtually every Christian scholar thinks 
capital punishment is un-Christian.  That kind of claim is the sort of 
thing I had in mind.

If reading/participating in threads that feature duelling theological 
inanities gets you off, go for it.  Doesn't mean those of us who don't 
can't ask for discussion of a more enlightened character...
