Hi Folks:
In response to the backchannels and edebate requests, here are the basics

to fly in on Friday, arrive by noon and you will be fine. Use JFK,

5pm Round 2
Saturday
8am Round 3
10:30 Round 4
Lunch
2:30 Round 5
5:00 Round 6
10pm Elims released on edebate and at the tournament hotel
Sunday

1:30pm Remaining Elims
C-Hotel: This is the reason why we have not posted our entertaining invite.
We are still in negotiations with the hotel and trying to get "NYU preferred
rates". The process for confirming our ties to NYU and getting "clearance"
is far more complex than predicted but hopefully my DNA verification will come
back next week and we can move forward to the obstacle course quickly.
Sometimes, it helps to have access to the feds :).
D-Hybrids: Yeah, we allow 'em. Duh....
E-Amenities and other info--All the fun-filled surprises will be in the
aforementioned invite, although we will shortly start the collection for the "See
Rayburn in Drag" Fund in the hopes of starting a new NYU-appropriate tradition.
The NYU Individual Events squad is hosting a tournament the same weekend and
the university is getting various requests confused but the President's
influence should smooth the way (gotta love that former debater as Prez thang).
Stay tuned. Full invite shortly. We are also awaiting word from
appropriate authorities about which schools are not allowed to attend and/or are banned
from the state.
Peace & Justice,
Will
