Debate Coach
The University of Mary Washington invites interested individuals to apply for the position of debate coach to start July 25, 2006. Required qualifications:  candidates must have a demonstrated track record of coaching experience in intercollegiate policy debate and a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. Preferred: administrative experience working with a debate program. This is a full-time coaching position reporting to the director of debate with no additional teaching responsibilities. 
Responsibilities of the debate coach include: coaching debaters in tournament competition, planning and coordinating debate instruction, researching, judging, organizing meetings and practice sessions, listening to and critiquing practice debates/speeches, traveling with debaters to tournaments, assisting the director with the administrative responsibilities of the program as well as the hosting of on-campus debate events, recruiting, and holding regular office hours to work with debaters on an individual basis. 
The position is a nine month administrative position with a competitive salary and full benefits.
