... that the people who brought puppets to debate would run one of the most 
organized (but still community-building) tournaments I've ever attended.  
Ruth Zisman, Stephen Davis, KC Skolnik, Andy Ellis, and the Bard debaters 
hosted for the first time, and they did everything right.  The food was 
excellent, the competition was great, and the Bard squad did everything to 
make us feel welcome.  The location is great (though I would personally be 
in favor of moving Bard's campus about 200 miles west), the weather was 
cooperative, and my students and I had a great time.  You need to go next 
year, if only to hear Andy Ellis utter the immortal words, "If you don't 
start your round now, I'm going to go get Stephen (Davis)."
