resolved: the collegiate debate community should fight the suppression of
information about and analysis of the iraq war through the creation of a
public database of information and analysis completely dedicated to the war.

primary evidence production is oft overlooked with near total reliance on
"primary" sources from lexis and the library. the arguments for the war so
weak and the only way they are able to stand is through suppression of
information and analysis.

rhetorical experts have alot to offer the public via information
organization/presentation and analysis.

the database can become a "source" for the media as well since its
comprehensivity will offer new leads and angles not yet covered by the daily
kneejerk press.

the database will also aid the student occupiers and provide background for
their arguments.
