Subject: [eDebate] WDI College Scholars, Summer 2007

Hi all,

We had a surprisingly large number of strong applications for the WDI College Policy Scholars positions. Thank you to all who applied and congratulations to the following debaters:

Doowon Chung, Wake Forest
Eric Cole, West Georgia
Liz Lauzon, Richmond
Brian Rubaie, Texas-Dallas
Kyle Zarazan, Kansas State

These debaters, all returning to competition on the "Middle East" topic, will be assisting at the wdi college workshop (July 27-August 11) as scholars. They will participate in the first web-cast debates on the topic, assist in pre-workshop argument construction, and aid in teaching throughout the workshop.

In addition to the scholars, WDI planning is in full swing. We have a great curriculum/schedule we will make available soon. We hope to see you in Burlington this summer!
