British National Debating Team

The fee for hosting the British team is $800.00.   To facilitate increasing the numbers of debates and reducing the number of hosts, you can get a $100.00 discount for every additional school you add to your stop.  For example, if three schools go in together to share a single stop, the cost is only $600.00 per school.  Hosts also provide, at minimum, lodging, meals, and local transportation.

To place a bid to host the team, please send the following information:

School or organization name
Contact name and address (must include summer contact information)
Telephone and email?fall and summer
Desired dates?please include several dates, in your order of preference

Suggestions for prospective hosts


Include the debate in conjunction with special on-campus or community events
Find other schools in the area who are also interested in hosting (each school will still pay the hosting fee, but it allows you to share hosting costs and makes scheduling easier and sites more attractive)
