Subject: [eDebate] WDI College Policy: Scholars Program

Are you a competitive national debater looking for an extra edge in
your junior or senior year?

Are you interested in working with one the top coaches in the country
on a pre-season argument?

Do you enjoy teaching and assisting in the construction of innovative positions?

Are you willing to compete in the first web-cast debate on the 2007-08

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, you should apply to
the WDI Summer 2007 College Policy Scholars Program.

Selected WDI Scholars will receive a full tuition scholarship for the
long WDI session (there are now three sessions of varying length),
including housing, a meal-plan, and hard copies of the evidence set.
General information can be found at:

WDI Scholars will work closely with lab instructors to produce
pre-institute arguments and will assist in instruction and guidance.
WDI Scholars will also have the opportunity to compete in a
demonstration debate on the first Saturday of the institute after the
release of the topic-the first web cast debate of the season.

To apply:

Email a short letter of interest, including your debate qualifications
(brief) and two references (names and contact emails for references
will suffice) to kevin kuswa at kkuswa at richmond.edu. Please include
"WDI SCHOLARS" in the subject line of the email. Come join us this
summer in Burlington. Apply soon.
