Geez Scott:

I think the analogy between child molestation and "topic molestation" is 
more than a little over the top. Actually, I think it is pretty ridiculous.

As far as your civil disobedience arguments go, they're internally 
contradictory. On the one hand, you claim that voting folks down for being 
non-topical will serve to "deter topic molesters" and on the other you claim 
that suffering losses for being non-topical will give strength and coherence 
to a protest against the topic?

Suggestions:

1) Learn how to spell Gandhi correctly. Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine.
2) Make up your mind on whether you want to deter bad actors or offer them 
movement strategy advice.
3) Next time, just quote Walter Sobchak - "this isn't Nam, Smoky, there are 
rules." That was most of your argument, no?
