appended is the list of proposed high school resolutions for 2010-2011

if there is anything that you see which is egregious, please let me
know... while the wording
committee has just finished, there is still time to amend if necessary tomorrow

1.      China
The United States federal government should substantially increase its
economic engagement with the People?s Republic of China in one or more
of the following areas:  trade, economy, environment.

2. United Nations
The United Nations should substantially reform one or more of the
following organizations:  United Nations Children?s Fund, United
Nations Development Programme, United Nations Environment Programme,
United Nations World Food Programme.

3.      Drug Trafficking
The United States federal government should substantially increase its
support of its international counternarcotics programs combating
illegal drug trafficking to the United States.

4.      Overseas Deployment
The United States federal government should substantially reduce its
military and/or police presence in one or more of the following:
South Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq.

5.      Southeast Asia
The United States federal government should substantially increase its
foreign assistance to Southeast Asia in the area(s) of human rights
and/or transnational crime.
6.      Latin America
The United States federal government should substantially increase its
trade promotion toward one or more Latin American countries.


7.       Russia
The United States federal government should substantially increase its
military and/or economic engagement toward Russia.


8.      North Korea and Iran
The United States federal government should establish a foreign policy
of constructive engagement toward the Democratic People?s Republic of
Korea and/or the Islamic Republic of Iran.
