Hey Everybody,

Saint Mary's Hall (SMH) in San Antonio, T.X., is a private school with
great resources, great students, and a great vision for the future of
their debate program.  They are looking for a coach that will take the
school to the next level of competitive high school debate.  SMH is
looking for someone to run a varsity squad that competes at the top
tournaments and top round robins in the nation and they understand the
commitment necessary to achieve that goal. Since SMH is looking for a
coach to help build a national powerhouse program, this is a fantastic
opportunity for someone to jump in and make their mark. Saint Mary's
Hall is a private school and DOES NOT require a teaching certificate.

Position: Debate Coach

Saint Mary's Hall seeks applicants for a debate coaching position for
the 2009-2010 academic year. Saint Mary's Hall is committed to
developing a premier policy debate program. Ideal candidates will have
extensive experience participating and coaching high school or college
policy debate. The primary coaching responsibilities include extensive
travel, judging practice debates, and preparing students for
competition at the highest levels of national competition. In short,
we are looking for a person committed to building a nationally
competitive policy debate program.

(Note: Although Lincoln-Douglas has not historically been a focus of
the program, consideration will be given to candidates who are
interested in building a highly competitive program that embraces BOTH
Policy and L-D or even a predominantly L-D program.)

Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching 1-2 debate classes
during the first year. Other teaching opportunities may be available
depending on the candidate's educational background. Unlike most
public school positions, a teaching certificate is NOT required,
however, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Arts or
Bachelor of Science before the 2009-2010 academic year. For more
