Are you a competitive national debater looking for an extra edge in
your junior or senior year?

Are you interested in working with one the top coaches in the country
on a pre-season argument?

Do you enjoy teaching and assisting in the construction of innovative
positions?

Are you willing to compete in the first web-cast debate on the 2009-10
CEDA/NDT Topic?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, you should apply to
the WDI Summer 2009 College Policy Scholars Program.

Selected WDI Scholars will receive a full tuition scholarship for the
long WDI session (there are now three sessions of varying length),
including housing, a meal-plan, and hard copies of the evidence set.
General information can be found at:

http://learn.uvm.edu/wdi/?Page=college.html#policy

WDI Scholars will work closely with lab instructors to produce
pre-institute arguments and will assist in instruction and guidance.
WDI Scholars will also have the opportunity to compete in a
demonstration debate on the first Saturday of the institute after the
release of the topic-the first web cast debate of the season.

To apply:

Email a short letter of interest, including your debate qualifications
(brief) and two references (names and contact emails for references
will suffice) to David Register at dregiste at
uvm.edu.<http://www.ndtceda.com/mailman/listinfo/edebate>
 Please include
"WDI SCHOLARS" in the subject line of the email. Come join us this
summer in Burlington. Apply soon.

Sincerely,

The WDI College Policy Scholars Committee
