      Hi everyone,
I just started my doctoral program and am looking for any peer-reviewed journal articles that are research studies of college debate squad leadership styles. From my initial research, I have not found that much on it and I have looked through Contemporary Argumentation and Debate for the past five years. If there isn’t any lit on college debate squad leadership styles, I am thinking of the next closest equivalent to it: either leadership of think tanks or in law firms?

      Thanks for any help,

Hi Dennis, I don’t think anything has been published about this – but there may be prior NCA presentations on the subject. Could be worth looking at the CEDA panels from older NCA programs.

Congrats on starting your doctoral program! Wish you the best of luck.

I read an article from a “Reimagining the Future of College Debate” panel that advocated having a database of all the data from tabroom and other sources compiled into one area for researchers as a panel recommendation. Do you know if anything has been done concerning that?

          Thanks!
          Dennis
