CEDA Fall 2019 Announcements:

NCA Business Meeting – The CEDA Fall Business meeting will be at NCA in Baltimore on Saturday, November 16 at 11:00am ET in the Baltimore Convention Center, Room 346.

Agenda Call – if there are any items you want on the NCA meeting agenda, contact your Regional Rep or email – dinger AT gmail – the deadline is October 31.

Elections – The following positions are up for election this year and require nominations. Nominations will be open now until December 1. Nominations can occur at the Business Meeting, via your Regional Rep or email – dinger AT gmail
Second Vice President (who then becomes Vice President and President)
Recording Secretary
Northeast Rep (Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey Vermont, West Virginia, New York, and Connecticut)
Mid Atlantic Rep (Pennsylvania, Delaware, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia)
North Central Rep (Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Illinois)

2020 CEDA National Tournament – West Virginia University from April 4-7

Friday April 3, 2020 – Arrival/Opening Award Ceremony
Saturday April 4, 2020 – First Day of Preliminary Debates
Sunday April 5, 2020 – Second Day of Preliminary Debates
Monday April 6, 2020 – First Day of Elimination Debates (on campus) – Awards at hotel
Tuesday April 7, 2020 – Second Day of Elimination Debates (at hotel)
Wednesday April 8, 2020 – Remaining Teams Depart

CEDA Dues – CEDA dues are $350 if paid before November 1. After that, they go up by $50.
